Starting the Accreditation Process
Note: The letter of intent process is currently being revised to better serve IAYT member schools. We will not be accepting new letters of intent until July 15, 2016 when we will launch a new, fully automated process.
When the new process launches in July, the following documents will need to be submitted with your letter:
- A cover letter that includes a statement of the mission and vision of the yoga therapy training program, including the philosophical basis - that is, the lineage(s) or tradition(s) - of the yoga therapy being taught
- The resume or CV of the Program Director, detailing yoga therapy education, training, and experience
- A sample of the syllabus (a course or module within the total syllabus)
- A description of the practicum portion of the program
