I have been practicing Yoga for 25 years and teaching for 8. I have completed my IAYT-certified Yoga Therapy program at Loyola Marymount College. I have an additional 40 hours of certification in Trauma-sensitive Yoga and experience with teaching teens in a school setting.
I have a BFA from NYU's Tisch School Of The Arts. I am a member in good standing of The Screen Actor's Guild, The Writer's Guild of America and The Actor's Equity Association. I have been a stage and screen actress for upwards of 25 years in addition to teaching Yoga and studying Yoga Therapy. I am the mother of two :-)
I am a member of the Neighborhood Church of Pasadena which is a Universalist Unitarian church dedicated to social justice and the environment. I have worked for The Door (NYC) for homeless teenagers as well as The Coalition For The Homeless (NYC) delivering food to the Homeless.
I teach at the lovely Yoga Madre Studio in Sierra Madre and am a regular substitute teacher at Yoga House in Pasadena. I teach privately and volunteer Yoga Therapy at The Simms/Mann Venice Family Clinic for Persistent Pain in Santa Monica.
