IAYT's Investment Account

IAYT maintains an investment account initially seeded $10,008 by a grant from the Yoga Research and Education Center (YREC). It in part consists of contributions from previous Life Members of YREC and IAYT. It is IAYT's intent to preserve and grow this fund, withdrawing only a sustainable annual return in order to fund certain projects in a dependable manner. Our long-term goal is to increase the principle to $100,008. A sustainable return on this amount, for example, will approximately pay for the annual printing costs of the International Journal of Yoga Therapy.
