Professional Information
  Marita Gardner-Anopol, an internationally recognized yoga pioneer and educator has been teaching yoga since 1978. She created Yoga 4 Corporate America in 1997. Founder of Kingwood Yoga and Wellness Center in Houston, Texas, she facilitates the yoga teacher training certification programs at the 200/500/800-hour levels. In 1995, she established Yoga 4 Kids®, and is a founding board member for the International Association of School Yoga & Mindfulness. Marita pioneered the Yoga 4 Kids Summer Camp at Rice University and she facilitates the Yoga 4 Kids program at Texas Children's Hospital. She designed and instituted the yoga curriculum at Lone Star College and is a Faculty member since 2005. In addition, she created Yoga in School© for Classroom Management and conducts continuing education workshops for teachers, school administrators , occupational therapists and speech pathologists. Marita created the board game & card games "Yoga 4 Kids", produced the instructional DVD "Yoga 4 Kids with Marita Gardner-Anopol" and published "The Adventures of Yoga 4 Kids, the first in a series of interactive story books for children.
