  Rie Monique Cherie is a Yoga Therapist, Movement Specialist, Franklin Method Educator Level 3, Yoga and Tai Chi Instructor with over 20 years of instructional experience. Her specialties include post surgical and injury recovery, injury prevention, neuromuscular re-education, somatic exercise,balanced/functional movement of the pelvic and shoulder girdles, and embodiment meditation. Her teachings draw on a vast background of skills from her training in Dance, Education, Tai Chi, Yoga and Franklin Method.
Credentials: C-IAYT 2017, Franklin Method Educator, Level Three, 2011; Yoga Teacher E-RYT200, RYT 500 registered since 2009, YogaWorks 200 and 300 hour certifications, 2010; Tai Chi Instructor of the Five Elements Form, Cas Overton, Master Teacher; BFA, Dance and Choreography, Virginia Commonwealth University, 1993. Multiple Continuing Education workshops in the field including Yoga Therapy, Tai Chi Therapy, Yoga for Athletes and Franklin Method® Continuing Education topics.
