Sandra has a Master of Science in Yoga Therapy from the Maryland University of Integrative Health. Sandra specializes in working with anxiety, stress related conditions, PTSD, depression, and anxiety. She is level 1 trained in i-Rest Yoga Nidra, and trained in relax and renew restorative yoga. Sandra has been teaching yoga for over eight years, and brings her love of physical fitness as a martial artist to yoga; she has been training in cardio kickboxing for over 10 years, and is a second degree black belt in Tang Soo Do (a mix of traditional Karate and Tai Kwon Do). Sandra understands the importance of mindful movement with the breath, and the benefits that yoga brings to our physical and mental health. She teaches Vinyasa flow yoga, gentle yoga, Hatha yoga, Power yoga, and Restorative yoga. Sandra designs her classes to accommodate all who come to the practice, whether it’s a person’s first time in yoga class or a seasoned yoga student. She likes to offer variations for each asana/yoga pose so that each person receives and experiences all the benefits of yoga.
