Renee owns her own yoga studio, In Balance Health Yoga in Maple Ridge, BC, Canada. Services she offers are therapeutic and hatha yoga class instruction, yoga therapy sessions, and yoga education.
Renee has worked with individuals with physical injury and illness for 18 years and believes that in order to truly serve people in their journey towards health and healing, the whole person needs to be considered–body, mind, & spirit. Her teaching style and writings reflect this integrated model of health.
Renee has a special interest in making yoga accessible to all, and she particularly enjoys teaching gentle, restorative yoga and mindfulness for stress relief and nervous system regulation.
Renee completed her Bachelor's in Kinesiology and worked as an exercise therapist for over 15 years prior to receiving her yoga teacher and therapist designations. Renee blends her knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and kinesiology to her yoga teachings and treatment plans.
