I have been practicing and teaching yoga and consistently since the 1997, including my time of service in the the U.S Army. I've taught yoga and meditation therapeutically since 2005, largely to service members, veterans and their families, including those with combat-related health conditions and survivors of Military Sexual Trauma. The focus of my work has been on providing yoga and meditation as an adjunct therapy for Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Traumatic Brain Injury, chronic pain, anxiety, depression, and injury rehabilitation as well as inspiring such individuals to create and sustain a self practice.
From 2015-2019, I served as a faculty member and Director of Warriors at Ease, a non-profit organization committed to training a global network of yoga and meditation teachers who serve military and veteran communities in the U.S. and abroad.
I currently offer private and group classes, workshops, and retreats in Hawaii and abroad through my company Mind Body Aloha.
