I am a certified IAYT yoga therapist who works with people with medically-diagnosed musculoskeletal and neurological conditions both in and out of a warm water pool. My work is done in conjunction with my clients' physicians. I also train medical professionals, yoga therapists & teachers and people with medical conditions how to use yoga postures & sequences to address specific medical conditions. Much of this work is done at Kripalu and Omega. I write articles and books about my work. My work has been featured in Yoga Therapy Today.

I have been trained by Igor Burdenko to work with people with physical impairments in the water, by the Mark Morris Dance Group to work with people with Parkinson's. The Street Yoga Teacher Training I did supported my work with homeless & at-risk youths. I apprenticed & worked with former dancer, David Brown using his techniques including yoga, Pilates and Gyrotonic expansion system to bring people with medical conditions to better health.
