Phil Goldberg  -  Our Maha Lineage:  The Making of a Nation of Yogis

Philip Goldberg has been studying India’s spiritual traditions for more than forty years, as a practitioner, teacher and an author. He is the author or coauthor of nineteen books, including Roadsigns on the Spiritual Path and his latest, American Veda: From Emerson and the Beatles to Yoga and Meditation, How Indian Spirituality Changed the West, which was named one of the top ten religion books of the year by both the Huffington Post and the American Library Association’s Booklist. For his work on American Veda, Philip was given an Award of Special Distinction by the Uberoi Foundation. As a public speaker and workshop leader, he has given presentations at venues throughout the country and India, and he has appeared in national media. Loren Fishman, MD   -  Yoga Makes the Grade and the Grade is A+

Dr. Fishman has used medical technology to verify and explain yoga’s virtues for 30 years, publishing over 80 related papers and books, and teaching at Columbia Medical School. His continuing work in back pain, rotator cuff and osteoporosis is the basis of his Park Avenue practice, and the basis of his lectures and workshops. He is past president of the New York Society of PMR, and currently serves as associate editor of Topics in Geriatric Rehabilitation and treasurer of a national charity. Yogacharya Ellen Grace O'Brian  -  The Soul of Yoga:  Health, Healing and Radical Transformation

Yogacharya Ellen Grace O'Brian, M.A., is the founder and Spiritual Director of the Center for Spiritual Enlightenment (CSE) with headquarters in San Jose, California. CSE is a ministry in the spiritual tradition of Kriya Yoga serving people from all faith backgrounds who are seeking Self- and God-realization. She was ordained to teach in 1982 by Roy Eugene Davis, a direct disciple of Paramahansa Yogananda who brought Kriya Yoga from India to the West. Yogacharya O’Brian has taught throughout the US and internationally for over three decades. She is the author of several books on spiritual practice including Living the Eternal Way: Spiritual Meaning and Practice in Daily Life; the Editor of Enlightenment Journal, a quarterly yoga magazine; host of the Yoga Hour, a weekly radio program; and the Founder and President of Meru Institute, offering certification programs, leadership training, and education in Yoga, Ayurveda, and Community Ministry since 1996.
